1.) Groundhog day is a popular tradition in the United states. it is about a legend that's been around for entries. it states that February 2nd is the day that the Groundhog comes out of his hole after a long winter sleep to look for his shadow. the myth tries to predict the weather.
2.) If he sees his shadow, he regards it as six more weeks of bad weather and returns to his hole.
3.) If the day is cloudy and shadowless, he takes it as a sign of spring and stays above ground.
